Contract Position

In this role as a Technical Lead for Integration Services, the successful candidate will
· Direct junior team members and co-coordinating resources to implement integration solutions within aggressive timelines which leverage the WebMethods platform.
· Provide technical leadership in successfully delivering enterprise and B to B integrated solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Deliver a complete integration solutions for both internal and B2B solutions.
· Provide detailed designs for software shared services
· Estimate and plan the work to deliver solutions
· Coordinate problem resolution with developers, testers and other groups
· Provide technical guidance, and training for other team members and technical staff
· Communicate technical and company direction
· Provide timely and constructive feedback
· Promote collaboration
Requirements
· 7-10 years Information Technology experiences with progressive roles including team leadership.
· 3+ years of WebMethods development, with a minimum of 3 months using version 6.
· 5+ years of development in Java
· 2+ years of J2EE
· Knowledge in more than one of the following areas:
o Integration Server
o Broker
o Adapter Toolkit
o Workflow, Manager
· Exposure to Oracle 8/9 including Table, Index, Stored Procedure/Trigger designs.
· 2+ years of WebServices development.
· Strong knowledge of HTTP, HTTPS, AS1/2 protocols
· Experience with BEA WL 7/8, JBuilder, IntelliJ would be an asset.
· Experience with Informatica would be an asset.
· Sound knowledge of Software Development and Systems Management Life Cycles for enterprise systems.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Flexibility, energy and confidence; ability to drive delivery in a dynamic organization.
· University Degree in Computer Sciences or Equivalent.
